Season : Year round
Dives : Daily at 10.00 , 12.00 and 16.00 hrs
Depth : 15 , 25 and 40 metres
Visibility : Between 15 and 35 metres
Temperature : From 18 to 24 °C
Wet Suit : A 5mm is provided
Fauna : Mediterranean and Sub Tropical


	Only half an hour or so from Tenerife South Airport , the Marina Los Gigantes Dive Center is located on the SW of the island , in one of the wildest natural sites in the Canaries under the impressive walls of the cliffs .

The center is equipped with comfortable and modern facilities located inside the Marina close to our dive boats , and only 20 M away from the sea . The two boats ( 8 and 9 M in length ) each seat 10 divers which is the group limit per dive .
All dives are boat dives , never more than 8 miles off the coast with a travelling time of about 15 minutes for the most distant ones .

This part of the Atlantic is reasonably calm for most of the year thanks to the leeward shelter provided by the Los Gigantes cliffs and the sea maintains a temperature of between 18°C in January to 24°C in September . The cleanliness of the water produces visibility of up to 35 M , much to the delight of under water photographers . Because of the volcanic origins of Tenerife , you will see strange rock formations - octagonal pillars of basalt that appear to grow upward from the sea bed .

Our professional and friendly diving instructors have your safety in mind at all times . We provide expert tuition for beginners and sound advice for the more seasoned diver . In addition , our fully equipped classroom has all the facilities you would expect of a top flight Diving Centre .

For accommodation in Los Gigantes we recommend the apartments of Poblado Marinero which are situated within the Marina and a few short seconds walk to the Dive Center , restaurants , shops and bars .
